About a week ago I went to the Toad in Porter Square with one of the loveliest girls I know. She's from a humble little place in Connecticut that I used to call home. I met up with her and her mate from college.
It was my last night in my creative fashion design class and I needed a little icing on the cake after finishing such a satisfying semester. Live music seeps right into my soul and fills me up to the tippy top. The Toad was showcasing a band called the Caged Birds.
This band moved me, grooved me and sang me to a higher place. I can't seem to find them online, but they will be playing there every Tuesday for the next month so if you live in the area definitely give them some love.
