Monday has become one of my favorite days of the week.
I wake up bright and early to meet with Brian for an hour of cardio/chirping.
Followed by a lovely brekky with me and my notebook on Salem St.

On my way to brekky in the midst of the rain and slushy snow, I saw a gleaming penny.
I always toil with the idea of picking one up to reveal what year it wants to show me.
I had to.
After getting the grit off, it confessed,1996.
The last and final year of my mum before the big c took her life.

Thinking of you more than usual today.
