Want, need, love.

I like to think that I surround myself with positive, happy,
and inspiring things... now I could carry it around with me.

I think that this {Kate Spade} bag speaks volumes. Not only for the concept,
but the title. Yes, I know it's a book that we all had to tread through
in high school, but I think the title speaks more to me now than ever.

I have been reading Commited, the follow up to Elizabeth Gilbert's Eat Pray Love.
It's moving, captivating and keeps me on my toes.
Liz talks most about our expectations in relationships, but these expectations parallel with life, friends and with ourselves.

"Marriage becomes hard work once you have poured the entirety of your life's expectations for happiness into the hands of one mere person. "

A solution for not falling short of our expectations is a thought by Priscilla. She told me something that stuck with me, it's not word for word, but something like it.

It's unrealistic to be perfect.
All we can do is stay true to what we feel is right
and what feels true to our heart.
Just be real.

That is my thought for the day.

Happy Monday!

How sweet it is.

I just think this is so sweet.
Granted I am sticking to pale colors, but this is just a great combination of colors.

Considering my closet is the size of my body...
I may have to resort to this. I kinda like it!
It is a shame to wait 'til tomorrow. -Emerson-

Between two lungs it was released
The breath that captured me
No more gasping for a breath
And I hold it tight
And I keep it in my chest

I absolutely love this!
I have been cruising the internet all morning for ideas for my new flat!
I have two porches and have been thinking of ideas
other than lights to drape from them.

I think I found it.
No not pencils.

Any ideas ?

Now you can mark your travels through a scratchy map!
This rings true in many ways.
I would love to go there & would love to have some chocolate from there too!

Everybody says time heals everything
but what of the wretched hollow?
The endless in between
are we just going to wait it out?

There are many things that I am unraveling at the moment.
That's why my writing has been lacking and music has taken over.

I am currently working on work for Twilight, finding apartments that
I need to move into in a week... ((if you could please send good vibrations my way))
Sorting out love. {for myself & another}}
SO in another words,I'm still here, just taking a little breather...
with more inspiration to come.

Lots of love to you on this rainy, Sunday night.

All The Lovers - Kylie

There is so much that is happening right now I can barely handle it.
Change is a great and beautiful thing, that you just need to embrace.
I'm learning.
This song has followed me from 7AM yoga to the gay club around the corner.
Australia, I get it.
I'm coming.
Don't worry.

Finally settled in at Flour on Mass Ave doing some work for Twilight. I just got a big latte, but in a giant mug. Reminds me of Coffee Culture in New Zealand where each latte came with chocolate covered espresso beans and a beautiful design on top. I love how life has settled here in Boston and I feel like I am feeling just as cozy as I did there. Ole!

Come again.

Look at everything as though you were seeing it
either for the first or last time.

Too little.

Never miss an opportunity to make others happy,
even if you have to leave them alone in order to do it.

I want you on my new porch.

My only porch and not sure where you are,
but you will be in my home and apart of it.

I say that half your life is spent trying to get out of a small town
and the other half trying to get back to one.

Sunshine.

I died when I saw this photo.
Priscilla baby, you and I when we were wee bits... if we knew each other.
This post is for you because well whenever I see you,
You make my day.

It looks as if we danced our pituties off and we needed a water break.
See you this week, neighbor!
